Privacy FAQ

Answering your questions about data sovereignty, browser-based security, and digital rights in 2026.

1. What does "Local-First" mean?

"Local-First" means that while you access the app via the web, all actual data processing happens on your device. We don't send your sensitive inputs to a cloud server to be processed; we use your browser's own power to give you results instantly and privately.

2. Does MiniPrivacy.app store any of my data?

No. We do not have a database for user inputs. All information entered into our tools lives in your browser's temporary memory (RAM). Once you close the tab or refresh the page, that information is permanently deleted.

3. Is this service free to use?

Yes. MiniPrivacy.app is free for everyone. We support our development and hosting costs through non-intrusive advertising (Google AdSense) rather than charging users or selling data.

4. How do you protect against data leaks?

By design, we cannot leak what we do not have. Since your data never leaves your computer during the processing phase, there is no central database for a hacker to target. Your security is as strong as your own device's security.

5. Do I need to create an account?

No. Account creation usually requires an email address and a password, which are pieces of data we prefer not to hold. You can use all our tools anonymously without ever signing in.

6. Does MiniPrivacy use cookies?

We use essential cookies to maintain site functionality
